Audience Feeback

To get audience feedback on my final draft of my pop magazine pages I chose to use the media software Facebook! I chose this because it's a software where most my target audience would be on it and using it everyday. This means I could ask a lot of people in there teens!

I tried to target my magazine at mainly girls but i added elements so that it would appeal to boys as well. Therefore because I want it to appeal to both sexes I asked one girl and one boy. I asked Liam Evans a 17 year old boy, who loves pop music and reads others magazines like sports magazines and says he would read a pop magazine if there was one targeted at his age group. He's a very created fun bubbly person and is the type of male i'd expect to read my magazine. I also asked helen reynolds who is 15 years old, a very created girl who loves pop music, fashion and her friends and family are her everything. She loves reading gossip magazines therefore she as well would be who I expect would read my magazine.

First I made my own group and told everyone briefly what this is for and explained what they could do!

Then I had to wait for my audience to send me feedback on my pages!
This was Liam Evans feedback to my pages!
Liam thought my pages suited my genre very well and all the pages were clearly linked throughout. Liam thought my front cover was very good and loved the posters I had on it. But Liam thought that because of the stars and music notes that the target audience was too old for who was music magazine was aimed at, therefore suggested I should make my music magazine have a younger target audience. Liam thought I had all the essential factors of a contents page and that it was easy to follow and understand. Although he did suggest that I made the main headline "get the goss.." bigger! He liked the layout of my Double page spread and thought it was very stereotypical for my genre. He also thought that my 'Kate Reynolds' banner should be completely straight, putting it on the straight looked weird and untidy.

This was Helen Reynolds feedback on my pages!
Helen thought that was magazine pages were very stereotypical for both my genre and a music magazine. She also like that I'd used my brand identify on every page to link them all in toghther. Helen liked my free posters inside and also thought my colour scheme was very effective and worked well toghther. She thought the stars and music note did not look tacky because it linked in with the splash well. Helen also agreed that my magazine should be targeted at a younger age that I'd planned in the Beginning. She thought my contents page was very easy to follow and had all key feature on it. She thought the layout of my double page spread was very good but agreed with Liam and the 'Kate Reynolds' banner needing to be straight.
