In this photo shoot I set my camera on a timer and took pictures of myself against a white wall so it was easy to edit a plain white background. I tried to do different stereotypical pop girl poses so it relates to them and is realistic to what would be in a real professional pop magazine.

Nearly Finished Contents Page
I have now nearly completed my contents page. I have added all the page references and information and have put on all the stereotypical things a pop magazine contents page would have. The only thing I have left to do is proof read it all and add a page number to the bottom of the page because this makes my contents page realistic and professional.
Development of my Content Page
I have listened to my feedback and development my contents page even more. I have added another photo to the right hand side which has made it look better and more stereotypical for a pop magazine. Also I have filled the blank space with the picture of a front cover and page numbers attacked to the cover lines. This is a away of linking the two together but also this is qwerky and would be seen in a pop magazine. The only things I have left to do know is just put the page numbers on my photos and fill in the page number and whats on what pages. Also I will add a page number as this makes my magazine realistic.
Development to my Contents Page
I have now started to development my contents page. I have added my photos across the right hand side, I think these photos are effective and very stereotypical for a pop magazine. I have started to layout where my cover lines are going to be. I have chosen to categorise it so my contents page is easy to follow. I have still put the magazine logo in the top left hand corner just so its clear it belongs with the front cover. Know i just have to add my text and page numbers. Also i have got to fill the blank space above my text.
I asked my peers some questions to get there feedback.
.
1. Do the photos look effective up the right hand side?
Yes the photos you have used are very stereotypical for your target audience. But pop magazine are very busy and I think there is too much space around your photos, maybe you could squish them up and add another one.
2. do you like that I have separated my text into sections?
Yes your sections are very effective and are all relevant to pop teen girls. This will make the magazine easy to follow which will suit your target audience as at there age they will want it to be easy to follow.
3. Do you like how I used slang instead of using contents page?
I think your use of slang is very relevant to your target audience and improves your contents page. Teens use slang in a day to day basis therefore when they read a magazine for fun they will want it to be easy to read which slang for them is.
Photo Shoot For My Contents Page
For my contents page I did loads of little photo shoots. This is because pictures in contents pages can't all be the same because thats not realistic and won't look as effective!

The first one I did was on my own with my camera and a tripod. I set the camera on a timer and took a lot of photos. I wanted to get a photo that was a teen girl pose, because of this I choose to use the last one because I think this is the most stereotypical pose for a pop artist!
The next one I took on a timer as well, this is because me and my friends were about to go out so before we went I took a photo. I think this photo is good because of the long dresses are likely to catch the teen girls eyes.
The Next one I took myself and took a long shot of all my brothers together. I chose to do this photo because teen girls love boy bands, therefore I thought the picture of the three boys together would portray a boy band.
The next one I took myself again. This photo is because I needed a Photo to put with my text in my double page spread. So I used a close shot of my face which looks determine because I was determine to win the show.

Time Management
Time management- I am a little behind target at the moment, I should have moved onto my front cover my know. I have nearly finished my front cover then I will start on the design work for my contents page so then I'm back on my target.
Nearly Finished Front Cover
My final front cover is nearly finished. As you can see I have added in my main central image and the splash to go with it! I Have also changed the puff to a better shape. I have listened to my audience feedback and have made space down the bottom for a barcode and made it so the posters don't take up to much room. Also I have centralised the writing in the puff which my audience feedback told me would make it more effective.
I have 3 things left to do before finishing my front cover, these things are;
- Since I placed my main central image, I think I have to many blank white spaces around my magazine. In my research and analysis into other pop magazine I found out that pop magazines are crowded therefore don't have white blank spaces. This means to make my magazine front cover to be a success I will have to fill the blank spaces
- Another thing is that my puff up the top isn't in the right place. It needs to be centred in the space in the top right hand corner.
- The last thing is that the 'Kate Reynolds' on the slash is hidden a bit by the cover line there so I will need the move the splash a little to the left.
