I have added a medium long shot image of me doing a stereotypical pop girl pose. When i did my research into pop magazines, I found out that on the right hand side of an interview there is always a picture of the celeb with a white background. I have still used my same colour scheme with the pink Kate Reynolds banner and the blue under description to the picture. I needed a picture to fill that space so I thought id make the picture relate to what the interviews about, therefore I used a up close photo of my face to determine to show that I was determine to win the show. I have layer out where my text is going to be and just have to put it in know. Also I added the magazine masthead so it relates to the other pages. Then I asked my peers to give e some feedback..
1. Is the layout of my double page spread stereotypical for a pop magazine?
Yes I think the layout is very effective and stereotypical for a pop magazine, Your layout connotes youthfulness and brightfulness which will suit pop girls. One thing you could improve is put the Kate Reynolds banner straight because it looks random randomly being slightly tilted up.
2. Is there anything else you'd change?
No but i think there needs to be more blue to the double page spread to even out the pink and blue.
